I was born and raised in Hawaiʻi, where baseball, softball, family, and the island way of life shaped who I am. Growing up, I spent countless days playing baseball and going to softball tournaments/games with my dad, creating memories that stuck with me long after the games were over.

At 20, I moved to San Diego to serve in the Navy. What started as a new chapter became another home, another community, and another part of who I am.

That’s why this jersey means more than just a name. I combined the island flavor of Hawaiʻi with the San Diego skyline, representing the two places I proudly call home.

And “HAMMAH”? It’s slang for hammer—but it became something bigger: a name for the big guy or big girl, the ones who step up, bring power, and leave their mark.
